Owly & Wormy, Friends All Aflutter!

My Brand New book has arrived! This one’s a little different from the graphic novels, but only in format, and I’m really proud of it and can’t wait to share it with everyone! What you may not know, is that Owly & Wormy, Friends All Aflutter originally started out as a graphic novel, but when Simon & Schuster approached us to do a children’s book, we decided this was the perfect story for this format. And don’t worry, the graphic novel series isn’t going anywhere. In fact, I hope to have a new one out by the end of 2011!

This story has just as many twists, and just as much friendship, and heartfelt emotion that you’ve come to expect from Owly but this time it’s in vivid color that springs to life from the large, bright pages.

You’ll be able to find this brand-new picture book at your local comic book store, bookstore, and even online from my friends at Top Shelf and Amazon.com.

In honor of the new book release I’ve also spruced up my site and added new pages to my Original Art Store, updated my tour schedule for 2011, added new Fan Art, uploaded tons of new “Owly As…” drawings, posted some great Owly Goodies, and added all kinds of little cute bits here and there. Feel free to explore and tell me what you think!

We’re looking forward to a wonderfully busy new year and can’t wait to watch it all unfold! Thanks again for all of the wonderful support, it really means the world to me and little Owly & Wormy! ^,^

A little ray of Owly sunshine :)

In case you need to add a little warmth to your days, I’m proud to announce that I just put up the Summer Print in the Owly Store! It’s all green leaves and sunshine and features Owly and his amazing veggie garden!

So, you can now purchase all four of the seasons and if you buy them all you’ll get a little discout as well! I’m also proud to announce that the upcoming full-color Owly and Wormy picture book from Simon & Schuster is in the current Previews Catalog. The book will actually be available in February of 2011 and you can pre-order it now at your local Comic Book store!

There’s also lots of new projects on the horizon and I’ll have much more to say about that as we begin 2011! In the meantime, be sure to check out the Owly page over at Top Shelf and you might just find a little hints of what we have in the works. ;)
