Happy Halloween and ComicFest!

Halloween is one of our favorite times of year! Maybe it’s because it’s getting a little cooler, or maybe it’s because all of the little chipmunks and squirrels are so active and playful during the fall as they start to build up their winter stores, or maybe it’s all the little ghosts and goblins and pumpkins… Whatever the reason, you have to admit that there is something very special about this time of year.

And who wouldn’t love a comic festival during Halloween?! Well, that’s exactly where we’re headed! Owly, my mom, and I are delighted to be on our way once again to awesome Greenville, South Carolina this Saturday to ComicFest 2014 at Richard’s Comics & Collectibles!

It’s going to be an amazingly fun day for all ages with free comics and candy, a costume contest and so much more! We’ll be there signing and doing sketches from 11am-5pm and hanging out with our good friends J. Chris Campbell, Duane Ballenger, and Van Jensen! We hope we to see you there!!! :)

Asheville Comic Expo!

Owly, my mom, and I are delighted to be on our way to beautiful Asheville, North Carolina this Saturday for the Asheville Comic Expo!

As always, I’ll be selling and signing Owly books, shirts, prints, baby prints, buttons, magnets, hats, purses, original art, toys and all of the other Owly merchandise, as well as drawing custom Owly Commissions!

This show is going to be extra special because our little doggie Chewie will be with us at the table! He’ll be raising money to donate to the U.G.A. Small Animal Teaching Hospital who took care of him this year and helped him with his heart troubles by implanting his very own pace-maker! This is his very first comic convention and he’ll even be dressed up as Krypto the superdog! We can’t wait to see how he does! It’s really going to be an amazing show and we hope we see you there!!! :)
