Comic-Con 2012 and Baby Owly!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Anthrocon and The Toonseum in Pittsburgh, and Heroes Con in Charlotte, and we’re now on our way to San Diego, California! It’s time once again for Comic-Con and we’ve got lots of goodies for everyone who’s coming to the show! You’ll be able to find Owly, my Mom, and I at the Top Shelf booth (Booth #1721). We’ll be there with all 5 Owly graphic novels, all 4 seasonal prints, Owly buttons, Owly magnets, Owly hats, the limited edition Owly Crafty Purse, the full-color Owly & Wormy Friends All Aflutter, and a brand new print that isn’t yet available online… Baby Owly!

Baby Owly is a little 5″ x 7″ print that’s ready for framing and will bring joy to any wall or desk he occupies. We’ll be selling these for $10 and we weren’t able to make a whole bunch, so if you want one, come by early, they won’t last long. :)

We’ll be set-up every day so be sure to come by and see us along with my good friends Robert Venditti, Matt Kindt, Jeff Lemire, Christian Slade, and many more wonderful members of the Top Shelf family! It’s going to be awesome and we hope to see you there! ^,^

Thank you so much, Andy, for being at the San Diego Comic Con. Your work really stood out among all the other styles represented. I’m a fan of all types of comic art(Mike Mignola, Sam Keith, Bill Plympton) but I swear, when I look at yours, I think, “Nobody here is better than this guy.”

Here in Ann Arbor, your work is adored and our Eisner Award-winning comic shop carries Owly right at the front of the store (which is bad for me because they sell WAY too fast). Not since Raymond Briggs have I felt so deeply for a youth-centered book. Keep up the good work!

Hi, Andy. Just wanted to stop by to say that I love your work. I got a print of Baby Owly from your booth at the Con, which is now proudly framed. Can’t wait until a new Owly book is out because I love reading(?) and following the little guy’s adventures and tales! :)

Owly and Wormy are the best tag team duo ever! :D
