Andy, it was great to meet you at DragonCon! My students were impressed with the Owly hat I got there, and they exhibited dazed looks of amazement when I told them that I *met* you.
The ride home from the con was mostly silent…all my car mates were reading your books. :-)

I can’t wait for the next installment of Owly’s life!

Hey Andy,

I could cry for having to sit here in Germany, not having the chance to grab one of the loveliest hats I’ve ever ever seen, or to meet the man who showed me again how important it is to stay a child and enjoy the simple things in life.

Andy – you’re truly my hero for bringing Owly, Wormy and the others to life and filling mine with such joy.
And Andy’s Mum – if you don’t mind sending one of those cute hats out to Germany, I’d be the happiest person on earth and would proudly wear my Owly hat on the way to work every day.

Thanks for making me smile everytime I see the cutest owl in the whole world… (and thanks for publishing the books here as well so I was able to infect my friends and family with the Owly-fever =)

I was so thrilled to see you at Baltimore Comic Con last Saturday (Sept 8, 2007!) Thank you very much for the cute sketch of Owly as a doctor and Wormy as his patient. I can’t wait to show it off to my friends! Next time, I would like a sketch of Owly, Wormy and Friends singing karaoke (FYI, I met my husband, Marc, at karaoke:)

I also want to take this opportunity to thank you for simply being so nice and accommodating! I am looking forward to your next Owly book. I have no doubts that it’s going to be another big hit! Kudos!

I picked up a Owly beanie at WW Chicago for my 2 year old daughter and she loved it… “Daddy, der is wormy!” she wore it around the rest of the day. Thanks for all your important work. Hope to see you at a con again soon.

I bought an Owly Hat at comicon.

It’s my new favorite possession; I wear it everywhere, which is pretty silly — middle aged men wearing owly hats are not adorable to everyone. I want to buy them as Xmas gifts.

Andy, those are AMAZING! You mom is amazing! Did she do the logo embroidery too? Cute, cute, cute!!

I won’t be at con again this year (big sigh) because of work, but I will be sending my boy Mark over to your table to nab some of your goods! That hat is a total must-have…and perhaps an Owly sketch to sit between my pages :)
